Supported Transceivers

Virscient help innovative product companies integrate wireless connectivity. We work with the broadest range of transceivers from the world’s leading radio silicon vendors.

We support protocol and component selection, PCB design and transceiver integration (chip-on-board or module), driver porting or development, embedded application software development, RF optimisation, antenna design, system validation, and interoperability and regulatory certification.

Virscient can provide or develop drivers for integration in bare metal, RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, ARM mbed OS, Zephyr, etc.), and high-level OS (Linux, Windows, VxWorks, etc.) platforms. We can also support development and integration of upper-layer protocol stacks, and top-to-bottom optimisation of system performance and power consumption.

In the tables below you’ll find details on some of the transceivers we’ve worked with. This isn’t an exhaustive list, but it does cover some of the more popular parts and families. For most, chip-on-board and pre-certified modular solutions are available as required to suit your product and volumes.
